The Ultimate Golf Challenge will be back for the third time at this fantastic destination thanks to the local sponsor SNTTA Emir Tours, the largest inbound tour operator in the UAE.
For the first time LOUDMOUTH GOLF will be the co-sponsor of this prestigious event and ensure lots of fun and "colour" for the week and supply each player with a pair of colourful pants of his/her choice.
Lots of surprises are planned as always and you will enjoy a truly amazing week playing together in a team with one Australian Professional and your friends.
The Courses
The Ultimate Golf Challenge are proud to announce that they have been able to secure the four most outstanding championship courses for our pro-am event:
In Abu Dhabi we will play the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club designed by Gary Player and the new Yas Links Golf Club designed by Kyle Phillips and already voted into the 'Top 100 Courses' in the world.
Thanks to Tim Ireland's personal friend Greg Norman we will be able to play for the second time the amazing Jumeirah Earth Course, normally exclusively reserved for the "Race to Dubai", also known as the "World Tour Championship".
The final round of the event will be played on Greg's new course, the Jumeirah Fire Course, which he considers his best ever.
The Resorts
Abu Dhabi
The resort in Abu Dhabi will be the new Yas Island Rotana located on Yas Island just 10 minutes away from the new Formula 1 Race Track and Ferrari World Center.
Travel distance to Abu Dhabi Airport is just 10 minutes.
You will stay three nights at this fantastic resort.
Dubai
For three nights you will be staying at the Dubai Amwaj Rotana, located directly at the beach close to the famous Burj Al Arab.
The resort is owned by Jumeirah and located close to the major shopping centers.
The Schedule
Saturday, 5 May
- Meet & Greet at Abu Dhabi Airport. Transfer to the Yas Island Rotana Resort and check in.
- If you fly into Dubai, transfer to Abu Dhabi (45 minutes) can be arranged.
Sunday, 6 May
- Breakfast Buffet.
- 10:30am transfer to the Yas Links Golf Club for the first round of the "Abu Dhabi- Dubai Ultimate Golf Challenge Pro-Am".
- Shotgun start. You play in carts and have GPS available.
- Lunch box will be supplied. Transfer back to the resort.
- In the evening Welcome Dinner Party at the resort with 3 hours wine, beer and soft drinks.
Monday, 7 May
- Breakfast Buffet.
- Transfer by air-conditioned coaches to the Saadiyat Island Beach Course to play the second round of the event. Shotgun start at 8:00am.
- You play in carts and have GPS available.
- Lunch at the clubhouse.
- The evening is at your leisure.
Tuesday, 8 May
- Breakfast Buffet.
- Check out in the morning.
- Abu Dhabi City Tour in air-conditioned coaches including lunch.
- Dubai City Tour including a visit of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa.
- View the city from the observation deck, located on the 124th floor.
- Check into the Dubai Amwaj Rotana.
- Evening is at your leisure.
Wednesday, 9 May
- Breakfast Buffet. Transfer to the Jumeirah Earth Course for the third round of the pro-am.
- Today is LOUDMOUTH DAY. Feel free to wear your new colourful pants and enjoy the surprises our sponsor has prepared for you.
- Shotgun start at 8:30am.
- You play in carts and have GPS available.
- Lunch at the clubhouse.
- Evening is at your leisure.
Thursday, 10 May
- Breakfast Buffet. Transfer to the Jumeirah Fire Course for the final round of the "Abu Dhabi - Dubai Ultimate Golf Challenge Pro-Am".
- Shotgun start at 8:30am.
- You play in carts and have GPS available.
- Lunch at the clubhouse.
- In the evening Gala Presentation Dinner including drinks at the Dubai Amwaj Rotana Resort.
Friday, 11 May
- Breakfast Buffet.
- Departure Day. Transfers to Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports for your flight to Australia.
